Ballet Initiative
Outreach and Educational Performances
In November of 2009, Ballet Initiative was first invited by the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra to participate in their Education and Family Concerts. Ballet Initiative students and Artistic Director, Jennifer Welch Cudnik, were joined by special guest artist, Alicia Graf, for six performances of excerpts from the Nutcracker at Powell Hall. Ms. Graf is a former principal dancer with the Dance Theatre of Harlem and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. She is currently on staff at COCA, in Saint Louis.
